PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT: MAC CHROMAGRAPHIC LINER IN NW25/NC30 (PRET-A-PAPIER-COLLECTION)+ITS MANY USES

Here's an initial review on MAC CHROMAGRAPHIC PENCIL IN NW25/NC30 (PRET-A-PAPIER COLLECTION)

PRICE: AROUND 24SGD (APPROX. 816PHP)
PLACE BOUGHT: CHANGI AIRPORT, SINGAPORE
OTHER LOCATIONS: MAC STORES; MAC ONLINE; MAC GLORIETTA, SHANGRI- LA, MARIONNAUD, POWERPLANT MALL

THE VERDICT:

Honestly, I don't know what the Chromagraphic Pencil is for until I've searched MAC for its product description. Maybe I was just excited about the collection, and maybe I decided to purchase something different apart from lipsticks and eyeshadows.

I had thoughts like: "It might be a waste of money", "Where will I use it?", "Do I really need it?" and a hundred more pecuniary questions.

But when I got it, I'm so amazed on how versatile this pencil is!

Let's review the product first before delving into its different usages.

The shade I got is NW25/NC30. It's the darkest shade. There are only two shades by the way. Prior to purchasing, I thought that the lighter shade would appear white on me so I really pondered on what shade to get. And getting this shade is a right decision because it compliments my skin tone perfectly.

The texture is VERY creamy, which makes it super blend- able and spread- able. This baby can highlight, outline, conceal, and brighten. I'll show you in the pics later on in this post.

Regarding the packaging and overall appearance, I like it. It stands out in my make- up stash, and the actual product is kinda' long. And a little goes a long way!

Swatch of the pencil. From the look of it in the pic, it looks very creamy!

Here are the many uses of the Chromagraphic pencil.

USE AS A BROW DEFINER (OR BROW CONCEALER)

I've applied the CP on the lower curve of my brows's arch.

Blend. And it'll look like this. A more defined brow shape.

Here are my brows, well- defined, thanks to the Chromagraphic Pencil. And look! I'm wearing the instant chic blush. :)

USE IT TO BRIGHTEN YOUR PEEPERS!

Use it on your tear ducts to naturally brighten your eyes. White eyeliner can appear too bold, so the beige- yellow shade of the CP is perfect if you want a more natural shade.

Closer look with the CP on my tearducts

And my eyes look naturally bright! :)

USE IT AS AN OUTLINER!

You can use it as a lipliner, or a lip concealer to neutralize the color of your lips. I didn't get to post any pics because I have a wound on my lip, which was caused by stress, sun sensitivity, and bacteria. It's about to heal, so patience to those who are looking forward to my Pret-A-Papier lipstick reviews. :)

CONCEAL NASTY BLEMISHES!
I've used this on the dark scar that my dried pimple has left. And it camouflaged my scar completely!

USE IT AS A CONCEALER!
Use this to conceal reddish corners on your nose, the area closest to your waterline, dark lids, etc. It's a great concealing tool for those hard-to-reach areas!

Regarding the staying power, it did last for four hours on my tear ducts, and eventually faded after that. But for 4 hours, it's kinda' long for someone who has watery eyes and oily skin!

And to make it last longer, dab powder on it to set the CP. If you're putting the CP on sensitive parts like the eyes and mouth, make sure that you carefully put powder to seal the CP.

No regrets with my purchase. :) And I'm loving it! You should check this out too. :)
