Sue Hill Sping/Summer 2011 Collection at Bubble London

Sue Hill Sping/Summer 2011 Collection at Bubble London

Sue Hill’s Spring/Summer 11 collection combines the most luxurious cotton/cashmere blend yarns with Liberty fabric to make a unique style. Sue only uses the finest materials available for her collections and the S/S 11 range shows the best of the Loro Piana yarns as well as Liberty new season’s fabrics.

Sue has chosen a brand new yarn from the famous Italian yarn maker, Loro Piana, who twist and dye this beautifully soft blend of 85% cotton and 15% cashmere to hand knitting specification exclusively for the Sue Hill brand. The cashmere element makes the yarn both soft and light, ideal for Sue’s collection of hand knits which is divided into three styles – a classic, a contemporary and a collection to combine with the Liberty print collection.

The classic collection includes a hooded jacket, cardigan, slipover and beanie & bootees. The more contemporary range introduces a combination of hand knit stitching and styles creating garments such as peplum cardigans, summer all in one, slash neck sweater and hats and bootees to match, all in the palest of pink, blue, lilac, cream, soft white and grey and finished with mother of pearl buttons. Several other hand knits combine beautifully with the liberty clothing range such as the crop and
A line cardigans with Liberty covered buttons.

Sue says “Until this year, we specialized in hand knitted cashmere designs but as we develop our brand, we are uniting the hand knit designs with our new Liberty print styles to offer a complete new look. We are very proud that all our products are handmade in the UK by our own team of knitters and dressmakers, ensuring that we can offer top quality. A few of the stores we currently supply are Fortnum & Mason, The Nursery Window and Babylist in London and for autumn/winter ’10, Bergdorf Goodman in New York will also stock the Sue Hill brand. We are also working on several other projects at the moment to supply individual exclusive collections to independent stores in the UK.“
