LFA Mini has grown over the past two seasons as more and more parents choose a quality branded product to create the mini-me look and take care of growing feet at the same time.  Sheepskin is a completely natural product which allows little feet to breathe and toes room to move around.  It also regulates body temperature and wicks moisture away, perfect to wrap up kids feet in the cold winter months and keep them cool in the summer.

Key styles include the new Mini Shortie with side zipper for easy fit, popular Cozi with a new cable knit cuff, dazzling metallic silver Classic Stud boots and pretty Westerns with tassles and beads, perfectly on-trend for budding fashionistas.

For ‘grown-up girls’, Love From Australia´s recently launched lo-wedge heel range adds a little extra glamour and height without compromising on comfort.

PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT: BEN NYE COLORLESS FACE POWDER

Here's an initial review on BEN NYE COLORLESS FACE POWDER

PRICE: AROUND 350+PHP
PLACE BOUGHT: FUNHOUSETHEATRICAL OF EBAY (THROUGH GIRLTALK PRE- ORDERING)
OTHER LOCATIONS: EBAY (INTERNATIONAL); DIRECT RESELLERS

THE VERDICT:

I've been dying to try Ben Nye because it's one of the most popular brands of professional make- up for film, theatre, and television in the U.S.A. It is the American counterpart of Europe's largest professional cosmetic company, Kryolan.

I got this from a pre- ordering pool via Girltalk. This, along with two more Ben Nye products came just in time before the pictorials of our play. And I did a road test of this product under harsh conditions (e.g. hot lights/lamps, profuse sweating, long hours of wearing make- up) to see how how effective this product is.

Let's review the product.

It reminded me of the good ol' baby powder bottles that makes me smile whenever I see mom pouring some of the white stuff on her hand after playing when I was a kid. It's new, and it's cute! The good thing about this is, it gives you the right amount of powder to use. But the bad thing is, the cover is so small, that you can't use it as a container for the amount of powder that you'll need. I pour some of it on a piece of tissue, then I use it.

Like all translucent powders, the texture of this one is starchy, yet fine. It disappears on your skin, leaving no trace of color that will affect the shade of your foundation.

And here's moi using the Ben Nye powder to set my make- up. Believe it or not, I've been sweating a lot, and the make- up stayed put! The powder did not cake nor streak!

It is unscented, which makes it perfect for those who don't like perfumed powders. And it also feels like feather when it settles on your skin. And it keeps you matte and fresh, because it's sweat- resistant.

And to those who are planning to use this everyday, I think that this can be used on a daily basis since it feels so lightweight when worn. And with a weather like ours, I'm sure that this will stand the heat and humidity!

It's amazing! I've found my HG face powder for professional use! I'm definitely getting one again! :)

**This translucent face powder comes in a travel- sized jar, this, and a tub, which is perfect for professional make- up artists.

HAULS FROM WATSON'S AND FROM HONG KONG AND CHINA

Personal hauls for the week. I'm switching from the new L'oreal Total Repair shampoo to Color Vive since I have a new hair color. Will show pics! :)

Mom was out of the country for business trip for 5 days. And here are her hauls.

OH MY GOOOSH! Finally! Just when I've given up my lemming for GA's Face Fabric because it's too costly, Mom got me one! Weee! I'm soo happy! I love ya' mom! :)

And here's a present which I asked her to get me from Beijing. Will give it to a special mentor. :)

MORE REVIEWS TO COME! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND! :)

SAIZEN IS A WALLET KILLER

Last week, I went to Robinson's Galleria while I was waiting form my hair coloring session in L'oreal's Ortigas office.

And a visit to Saizen was a tragic one for my wallet, yet a happy one for me.

Here's what I got.

Pouches. I can't resist these cute pouches!

Ashtrays for me and my brother, and two pairs of cute ankle socks.

Knee pads for dancing. Sorry if they're dirty. Used them prior to taking their pic.

Loofah pack, cotton pads, and a black toothbrush and tongue brush. The black toothbrush and tongue brush are interesting. That's why I got 'em.

A waterproof green bag. Roomy, and most especially, lightweight! And the dog is not from Saizen. :)

Another gallon of my Whey Protein to supplement my muscles after every hard work out. Well, this one is not from Saizen. :)

This is my first time to purchase in Saizen. It's a very interesting store. You would really think that 85php for everything is waay too cheap that's why you might feel the need to haul. But truth be told, some items that I got like the metal ashtray, socks, loofah, cosmetic pads, tooth and tongue brushes, and colorful striped pencil case weren't really worth my 85 bucks. Meaning to say, they're too expensive at 85php! In my case, I learned my lesson. And to those who haven't visited Saizen yet, BEWARE! Nah, I'm just kidding. It's a very nice place, lots of cute and interesting items are waiting for you to pay for them on the counter. But just bear in mind which is worth and not worth buying at 85php.
