Hi guys! How's your windy Sunday? Thank God, the prayers of the Filipino nation have been heard and Pepeng is now almost out of our area of responsibility. It is slowly making it's way out of the country via North Luzon. I just hope it doesn't wreck that much havoc in Laoag and the rest of the North Luzon region. By tomorrow afternoon, it is expected to be almost out of the country and by Tuesday, it will be in Hong Kong.
THANK YOU SO MUCH LORD GOD FOR SPARING MY COUNTRY!
So anyway, mom and I went to Duty Free. I didn't expect that we would haul that much but know what made us haul a lot? It's because we have found so much price differences on items that we see and like in Rustan's Makati. I'll make price comparisons later.
So here is my haul. I bought a bag, a perfume and of course, make- ups. :) I also did some supermarket hauls which I'll show you later on in this post.
I was sooo amazed at the Maybelline counter in Duty Free because it's like a mascara eater's dream has come to life! I've seen that they have DOZENS of mascaras unavailable in our local market namely Lash Stiletto, Define-a-lash, Volum Express Turbo Quick and Ultimate volum, and my all- time favorite, the Colossal Mascara, which is my favori because I swear by it's volumizing ability!
Also, I am quite impressed with their l'oreal counter because I saw that they have the Double Extension tubes mascara. It's the silver and blue- ended mascara that aids in permanently lengthening the lashes. It is sort of a treatment that will prime and encourage lash growth. There's also this black and gold- ended tube that does another thing, which I completely forgot. Well, it doesn't come at a cheap price because it costs $15.50. But if I had the extra cash, I would really get one! But I'm pretty fine with my Colossal. I'm so excited to use it!
Here's a bit of a low down on how our shopping went. BTW, the exchange rate is at 47.35=$1:
